Adams County Jail Roster Overview
The Adams County Sheriff's Office runs the local jail and corrections channel. Its official Jail Roster and Release Information page says realtime jail roster information is available through the Adams County Sheriff's Application, with the Corrections Center phone line available for additional information. The county jail page gives the same app-based instruction. That makes Adams County different from counties that publish a searchable inmate table on a public web page.
A roster result should also be read against the current housing context. The Adams County Jail remains the named county jail facility, but 2024 WASPC jail statistics list the Adams County Sheriff's Office as not currently housing offenders. If the app does not show a person, that does not always mean there was no Adams County arrest. The person may have been released, sent to another jail under a housing arrangement, transferred to WADOC, held in a federal or immigration system, or handled through juvenile detention.
Use the Adams County Inmate Roster
The official access chain starts with the county app, then moves to phone, in-person, public-records, court, state, and federal tools. Keep the person's full name, date of birth if known, arrest date, case or citation number, and arresting agency nearby before searching. Adams County's public web pages did not expose the in-app search fields, so field labels should not be guessed.
- Open the county's roster/release page to verify the current app instruction.
- Install Adams Co Sheriff's Office WA from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Use the app's jail roster or inmate information tool for current local custody and release data.
- Call the Corrections Center at 509-659-3331 if the app is down, unclear, or missing the person.
- Use WADOC, BOP, ICE, WA VINE, or court records when the custody type is not local adult jail custody.
For court charges after booking, use Washington Courts and the filing court rather than the jail roster alone. The roster is a custody source. The criminal case file is the charge and disposition source.
Adams County Roster Search Fields
The public web research found the app path but not a live browser roster form. The search-field table therefore records what is confirmed and what is not confirmed. This is more accurate than importing field names from another Washington county.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| App download / install | Mobile app | Yes for realtime access | County pages point to the official Adams County Sheriff's Application. |
| Jail roster / inmate information | In-app function | Unspecified | County says realtime jail roster and release information is in the app. |
| Search fields | In-app UI | Not located | Exact field names were not visible from public web pages. |
| Login | Unknown | Not located | The app is listed as free; no county web roster-login rule was located. |
Adams County Inmate Profile Details
Washington law confirms only part of what the public can expect. The public jail register must include the name of each confined person, the hour and date of confinement, the cause of confinement, and the hour, date, and manner of discharge. Adams County may display more information in its app, but the public web research did not verify booking numbers, bond fields, mugshots, housing units, arresting agency, or court dates.
| Field | What It Shows / Status |
|---|---|
| Name | Public jail-register field required by RCW 70.48.100. |
| Confinement date and cause | Public jail-register field, often tied to arrest charge, warrant, sentence, or hold. |
| Discharge date and manner | Public jail-register field showing release, transfer, bail, sentence completion, or other exit. |
| Booking photo | Not confirmed in the app; Washington restricts booking-photo disclosure. |
| Bond | Per-inmate app display not verified; the county FAQ explains cash-only and warrant bail rules. |
| Housing location | Not confirmed; especially important during Adams County's non-normal housing period. |
Find Adams County State and Federal Inmates
Do not search one database for every custody type. A person arrested in Adams County may start in the local jail/court system, but sentenced prison custody, federal custody, immigration detention, and juvenile custody use different records. WA VINE is useful for notice, not for a complete criminal case file.
| Custody Type | Where to Look | Key Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Local adult jail | Adams County Sheriff's Application and Corrections Center | App fields and housing location may not be visible on public web. |
| Sentenced state prison | WADOC incarcerated search | Not a county booking roster. |
| Custody notification | WA VINELink | Notification tool, not court records. |
| Federal custody | BOP inmate locator | Usually sentenced federal custody from 1982 forward. |
| Immigration custody | ICE ODLS | Not a county jail roster. |
Adams County Jail Facilities
Adams County has one main adult jail channel and one juvenile detention channel documented in the facility map. The adult jail and juvenile facility should not be merged for search purposes. Juvenile records have stronger access limits, and the adult app should not be treated as a public juvenile roster.

Adams County Jail Visits and Contact
The Adams County jail FAQ says visitation is primarily virtual through CIDNET. Inmates must submit a visitation form naming adult visitors and the day or time requested. Walk-in visits are not allowed. Visitors over 16 need valid state or federal government photo ID, and minors must be with a parent or adult guardian.
| Visit Type / Group | Schedule or Rule | Source Note |
|---|---|---|
| Virtual visitation | Primarily conducted through CIDNET | County jail FAQ |
| Male inmates | Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 2 pm | County jail FAQ |
| Female inmates | Saturday 2 to 5 pm or Sunday 7 to 9 pm | County jail FAQ |
| Scheduling | Inmate submits visitation form | Walk-ins not permitted |
| Visitor ID | Government photo ID for visitors over 16 | High school ID not accepted |
The Adams County jail FAQ also says personal mail is opened and checked for contraband, legal mail is treated separately, inmates have phone access at all hours, attorney calls are free and not recorded, and personal incoming calls are not allowed.
Request Adams County Booking Records
If the app and phone line do not answer the question, use the Adams County NextRequest portal or the county public-records form. A request should identify the record clearly: inmate name, arrest or booking date, case or citation number if known, arresting agency, and whether the request is for the jail register, a booking record, an incident report, or a booking photo.
Expect limits. RCW 70.48.100 makes the jail register public but treats many other jail records as confidential. RCW 42.56.240 can also affect law-enforcement records during investigations or when victim, witness, or protected information is involved. A useful request asks for a specific record and allows the county to redact what must be withheld.
Adams County Booking and Bail Basics
After an arrest or warrant pickup, Adams County booking records can still be Adams County records even if the person is housed elsewhere. The local FAQ says felony and domestic-violence arrests require appearance before a judge before bail or bond is set. Warrant arrests can normally be released on the bail or bond shown on the warrant, unless cash-only bail or another hold prevents release.
During business hours, cash bail may be posted through the clerk of the court with jurisdiction over the arrest. Outside business hours, bail is posted at the jail. The FAQ says credit cards, debit cards, and personal checks cannot be processed for bail, and cash-only bail must be paid in full cash.
Note: Confirm current custody before sending money or planning a visit because Adams County's recent housing status has not been normal.
Adams County App Roster Source
The county's jail information page is an official source for the facility description and the app-based roster route. The Adams County Jail Information page identifies the jail as the county corrections facility and points roster users to the sheriff app.
The screenshot supports the page's main lookup point: Adams County's official inmate records route is tied to the sheriff app and Corrections Center, not a browser table with visible fields.
